Strip of Sky is an interactive piece that is installed outdoors. The wooden frame has bright yellow fabric stretched around it. The fabric conceals the outside world with color. In the middle of the tube, directly above the user, a strip of the frame is left open. This allows only the sky to be seen above. It is installed in a public park in Richmond, VA, where the river can be heard nearby. The piece will not last forever, anchoring it to one period of time in a specific location.
